I’m happy to continue my wonderful collaboration with the Constanta State Opera in Romania, and to announce we have opened the registration to my 2nd conducting masterclass in June 23-27. The masterclass is built for all levels, ages and all nationalities of conductors are invited.
This year again the masterclass will be focused on symphonic and opera repertoire with the Constanta State Opera orchestra and their soloists. The repertoire will be as follow:
Brahms | Symphony No. 4 in E minor, Op. 98
Verdi | “La Forza del Destino”, Overture
Mozart | “Die Zauberflote”, K. 622, Overture
Rossini | “L’italiana in Algeri”, Overture
Beethoven | “Egmont” Overture, Op. 84
Arias & Duets by Mozart, Verdi & Puccini (TBD)
A total of 10 conductors will be accepted and have a total podium time of 90 minutes over the length of 5 days, and will all conduct in the final concert. All sessions will be recorded as well as the final concert.
This is a great opportunity for conductors who are looking to keep their shape over the summer, and still enjoy a beautiful and relaxed beach city during the afternoons.
